But before I put it in, I went ahead and tested the SSD again, once on a 1 ohm load, second on a 4 ohm load. Both tests resulted in zero sound. It's dead, and really g@y cause I had only had it for about a week and only played it for maybe an hour.... |

Both times read ~1.5ohms, which I was told was right. I don't doubt that scott knows what he is talking about, but so does any other dealer/owner. My problem right now, is that I sent Scott an email asking what the warranty entails and wondering if I would have to or even why I would be asked to pay for repairs when the problem isn't my doing. I also posted, basically, the email on his forum(soundsolutionsaudio), which was over two days ago and he has yet to respond to either. |

He answers around 100 emails a day, so be patient. It took dom iraggi and several other alternator companies that you can only buy by email between 3 days and a week to get back to me, but he will. Silver Member Username: JtownPost Number: 231 Registered: Mar-07 | that's the thing, he has been responding pretty damn close to immediately until I asked him about details about the warranty. He did give me an address to ship it back to, but that's when I asked about the warranty, and that was a few days ago, which he has not responded to either the forum nor the email. Yes I tried a different sub, different HU, different amp, different RCAs as well as all other electrical wiring. I finally just got a bigger amp for a lil more, and got an Alpha V1 which more than satisfies my appetite right now. I tried everything without having to contact scott, and then without having to ship it back. Something is wrong with the sub and I did not create the damage. Just for the record I'm not pissed or anything at Scott, just kinda expected he would get back to me just as soon as he has been. I'm upset that I paid over 200 for a sub, and not even after ~1 hour, more or less of use, the sub stopped performing like it should have been and ultimately ceased to make any sound what so ever. |
