On the way home today, noticed that my rearview mirror was a little off, went to adjust it, flop! down it went...wasn't the metal piece that attaches to the windsheild though, the setscrew that keeps it on that piece was loose, and the mirror had vibrated upward until it was almost off, so when I adjusted it, it came off. Just had to put it back on and retighten the setscrew
"wolfman your car must be real old for it to do that. my mirrow didn't even come off when i was averaging 149+ db during a bassrace run."
same thing with flex.
flex is just junky if were talking about large sheetmetal areas...
i dont know what kind of pressure levels my car has been capable of but my rear view mirror just slowly looks down to the passenger floorboard over a short period of time.
my car is a 2004 Dodge neon....I think its just the fact that I play the bass a lot, and it makes my rearview mirror vibrate pretty good, and yeah, my will slowly look down to the floorboard too,
ha ha, what r those? This town is pretty dead, we had one last year that Canaan did, and this year the shop where he works is putting one on, on Aug. 26, I'll be at that one, but doubtful I would compete unless there were only 2 others in my class, that way I know I would win 3rd...lol, why do you ask?
ha ha wow all u guys new cars cant do anything LOL
i dont think my rearveiw will ever come off the window LOOL to strong for all that.... i can jump on my hood materfact i did that in a parking lot to be stupid to c what ppl would say LOL its was pretty funny but back on topic
cant wait to get my 6 8s & 6 12's ha ha 120 dbs all day LOL lol
mine pops off all of the time but the wire for the lights on the mirror holds it on. its pretty useless trying to use it when your listening to music it never stays still..
Well...since we're on the subject...I blew my rear door panel off, blew two of the power locks out, cracked my windshield like a b1tch(It started as a tiny rock chip) and knocked my tweeter cup off several times.
JEREMY as far as tightening where it won't look down at the floor, I don't think so, the only thing I tightened was the set screw that holds it on the windsheild
