New member Username: Animex2Buffalo, New York USA Post Number: 1 Registered: Aug-07 | Hey, im trying to make sure i have everything wiered correctly. First of all i have a MD SOUND 2000W Amp, thats mono even knowing i have 2 outputs, they are bridged togeather (correct term?) i believe. 2 Ohms output. I have 2x Audiobahn AW1251T 12" Subs, they are DVC with 4 ohms. Im unsure if i should wire them like http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_2-o hm_mono.jpg or like http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2DVC_4-o hm_mono.jpg beacuse the other day i had them wired like http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/1SVC_2-o hm_mono.jpg only with 2 subs (4 outputs on the amp) i dont know too much yet about subs and speakers and i dont want to blow my speakers out, right now i have them wired as DVC with 2 ohms at each voice coil. am i looking at this completely wrong or doing anything right? thanks. |

New member Username: Animex2Buffalo, New York USA Post Number: 2 Registered: Aug-07 | uhhh... yea i just noticed that in the 2nd diagram the amp is spitting out 4 ohms, but my amp only spits out 2 ohms, and i have 4 ohm subs. so this is where im getting confused. |

It is a MD SOund 2618m amp, box says 2 ohm stereo mode, but mono on the box elsewhere. so now i dont know if i have a mono or sterio amp =/ it takes both inputs in from the head unit |
