Okay i've read different things, but here's my config. I've got 2 12" SVC sony subs that are 2 ohms hooked in a series which will give me a 4 ohm load I believe Now I'm hooking this into a 2 channel amp that can take
* 125 watts x 2 into 4 ohms
* 170 watts x 2 into 2 ohms
* 340 watts bridged into 4 ohms

Does this mean I can bridge the subs?? I thought I read bridging would half the ohms, So I don't know if bridging it brings it back to 2 ohms, so should I just connect it to one channel of the amp or use the positive to one channel and the negative to the other channel?? Just don't want to damage anything!! Thanks in advance! BTW the sub came wired in series, I didn't choose it

fisrt you need to test the sub. get a power cord cut the end and hook it to your subs then plug it into a wall socket in your house. Let them run for about 5 minutes(to get em loose)

o and p.s. dont actually do this

well u can either run each sub to a channel to get 170x2 @ 2ohms or you can wire them to get a 4ohm load and do 340x1 @ 4ohms. its the same either way so your choice.
