I got a Pioneer PRS-X340(4channel @ bridged mode(2) )powering 2 12" pheonix gold tantrum subs.
After 30minutes of driving around and having the music up at around 25/35vol. it heats up. I dont want it to burn n ish.... anyone have any suggestions on what im doing wrong ?
Pioneer amps are pretty shotty. They tend to overheat, but make sure you have the gains set properly and make sure theres plenty of air flow and the amps aren't mounted upside down.
the amp is just sittin on the trunk floor..... subs are connected seperate... and just 1voice coil.. not both .. i donno the terms...
the switch on the amp that says 4ch and 2ch. is on the 2ch... so i guess thats bridged to 2channels..... now i got 1 sub connected to channel A and 1 to Channel B.....
