Bronze Member Username: Sept298901Post Number: 14 Registered: Jul-07 | Tell me if this is a bad idea. I am thinking about upgrading my current 360 watt rms amp to a 600 watt rms, 1200 peak. Currently i have a 17' 8 gauge wire connecting my battery to my amp. the amp im looking at has 3 fuses, 25 amps each, while my power cable has an inline 60 amp fuse. Would it be a bad idea to leave the wiring alone, or possibly upgrade the inline fuse? or do i have to upgrade to a 4 gauge wire? |
