New member Username: Yamaha686Michigan USA Post Number: 1 Registered: Jul-07 | ok i cant decide on what subs i want, im thinkin about either getting 2 alpine type R's, or 2 Pioneer Premier 3000 watt subs, i really dont care about sound quality i just want them to be able to shake the sh*t out of my car, i know the type r's are loud as hell but ive never heard the pioneers, and im going to be running a kenwood 1000 watt class d amp to each sub and they are going to be in a custom built ported box....... so basically im just wanting opinions on which subs are going to pound more with the set up im going to have..... thanks |

If that's the case he will be better off with the SD2.5's. |

Post Number: 11870 Registered: Jul-05 | i own both d type r & premier 1000wrms type r will do whatever purpose u want it to do but is more famous for its loooows premier is more of a low bass sub too yet can get loud - i seen 1 12 in a hatchback do 140dbs on a iasca meter if u dont care about SQ then i suggest u use NEITHER - u may want some cheap kicker L7 for that amp...... |
