I have a sirius adapter hooked up to my alpine headunit. the antenna was ran through the back window to the roof and after rain it wont work for a while usually. this only happens after a rain storm. please help
depending on the wiring location of the ant ithere might be a chance the ant wire is spit somewhere and its taking water. I need more info if you want my help
i had this problemm with a old sportster it was due to the antenna taking in water causeing a short. after it dried out i got reception bk till it all finally went.
there is a problem with all dsr (sirius and xm) antenas. and if using a fm direct modulator those also have problems. dsr manufatures are always updating their prducts trying to get rid of the glitches. I have done hundreds of installs and most come back with antena and modulator issues..
