hi, i have a CD stuck inside my sony CDX-L460X head unit. can someone teach me how to get it out? when i press the eject button, there's no sound at all. is the ejection motor screwed? is there a combination of buttons that i can press to remove the CD? pls help.
Getting the CD out is the easy part, fixing the problem that caused it to stick in the first place is the bugger. If you're really lucky you can reset the board but I don't know for sure that your head unit has a reset sequence. Contact Sony and ask?
If it's under warranty, exchange it and buy a new CD. If it's not under warranty you are at a crossroads, either pay to have it fixed or pay to buy a new head unit.
