Decision on 2 subs for spl

Silver Member Username: Cplaya280Quakertown, PA USA Post Number: 592 Registered: Oct-05 | has anybody ever heard a 15" L7 vs a 15" FI BL, I'm thinking about going to a FI BL but i wanna know do those subs hit harder then the l7's like i know they will sound better but will they hit harder thats what i wanna know so i know what decison to make |

Bronze Member Username: TejcurrentPost Number: 100 Registered: Apr-07 | We did a swap, 05/06 L7 for a new BL with all the options (this was before the BP option was available). This was in my brothers truck run at 1ohm off of a hifonics bxi2006d. Not the best amp in the world, but still has done good for me and him, and gives it a solid 1500+ watts. He beats on the BL with no problems, while shortly after installing the L7 he started having strange noises come from it. Since both are very similarly priced from a dealer (around 300) its a no brainer, because you can recone the BL. The BL just has a good sound to it, and is louder in the process. While what is louder will be determined by the install, the BL most certainly was in this case. |
