Tuesday, July 24, 2007 - 11:47 GMT it's that sticky that burns so well... first thing that came to mind when reading the title. Where are your gains set, and what type of enclosure is it in? Have you tested your voltage at the amp with a DMM?

Thursday, July 26, 2007 - 03:15 GMT Voice Coils roasting over an open fire... Just kidding, hopefully. If it's a new set up, it could be excess glue burning off.

Friday, July 27, 2007 - 05:47 GMT can you change settings on the low pass filter? Don't use the bass boost at all. It just distorts and makes things nasty..

Friday, July 27, 2007 - 11:43 GMT all bass boost does is clip the signal, turn it off completely and adjust your eq accordingly.
