Wednesday, July 18, 2007 - 03:35 GMT hey guys, i have a 4 channel amp that i'm running my 4x6's off of, but i'm about to get a set of components, and want some more wattage for them, my amp has a 2ch, 3ch, 4ch, switch on it, could i just turn that switch to 2 ch and it will give it more power to the 2 channels i'm running? or do i need to bridge the channels too with the speaker wire outputs?

Wednesday, July 18, 2007 - 20:32 GMT Yes, you will need to bridge it to 2 channels... aka you need another set of patch cables.

Thursday, July 26, 2007 - 03:24 GMT Well you're going to need some speaker wire, probably about 40 feet of 14 gauge. And patch cables = RCA cables.
