Monday, July 16, 2007 - 18:30 GMT Im going to have around 1000-1200rms @ 1 ohm to play around with and im wanting to get two 12" subs. Any suggestions on what do get? This is going in my daily driver, I dont plan on competing or anything either. I just want a loud but clean sounding setup. My first choice was just the basic Alpine Type-R's... but I wanted to get some opinions first. I do want NEW subs though and a warranty would be nice too.

Monday, July 16, 2007 - 19:38 GMT get 2x RD Classics. They handle 500w each and are SQ-SQL subs made in the USA. When I decide to upgrade my setup I will probably be going with the RD Classics.

Monday, July 16, 2007 - 21:16 GMT get the type r's. they are good for sq and spl. i own them and they are great and they wont empty your pockets. they handle 500 watts rms each but can easily take 700 plus in everyday use. alpine makes good subs and the type r's are the best they have i think.

Tuesday, July 17, 2007 - 12:57 GMT The RL-p is a good idea, SSD's with D1 coils, or maybe the new Arsenals.
