I'm looking for an amp to power my 12" Fi Q it's dual 2 ohm and don't know what to get i was looking at a kicker zx1000.1 but that could be a little out of my price range at the moment so any recommendations on an amp that can put out 1000w rms and 2 ohms?

wouldn't use a zx1000.1 with your D2 sub.
dual 2 ohm subs wire up to a 1 ohm or 4 ohm load...

what's your budget?
check out the elemental designs nine.1

Alright thanks on that. the NINe.1 is also out of my budget would like to spend something under 250... is that possible? Doesn't have to exactly put out at least 1000w rms maybe something that can do 800-900.

from what i read people usually put more than 1000wrms to the Fi Qs, you can find some used nine.1 around $250 at http://www.icixsound.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=13.

i think you would enjoy this hifonics...
