Silver Member Username: MendonmafiaUSA Post Number: 324 Registered: Aug-06 | its rated at 1000 rms watts at 2 ohms not 750 and ive had 50 volts coming out of that baby when i was first setting my gains and 50 volts divided by 2 ohms = 25 apms. 25 amps times 50 volts = 1250 watts. sure the signal may have not been entirely clean but rite now i have it putting out approximately 45 volts at maximum volume and there is hardly any aubible distortion and no audible clipping. Surely having nice woofers helps here but having a 750 rms amp putting out 45 volts would mostlikely be clipped to fu ck. The signal from the 15.0:1 amp is very clean for good sq but have plenty of power to get some serious SPL. IMO i think that the PG 15.0:1 is the best value of any other amp in its category. |
