Silver Member Username: KapreseWalstonburg, NC USA Post Number: 267 Registered: Mar-07 | well it's the length and width I am new at calculating port tuning thats why I am asking you guys |
Silver Member Username: Phil_salisburyPost Number: 287 Registered: Sep-06 | Joshua, Slot Ports are defined by the Width x Height x Length. So, if the width is 1.5" x the height of 16.5" x the length of 13.5" will define it's port tuned based on the volume of the enclosure. Keep in mind that the port size w x h x l will displace volume along with the subwoofer volume will effect what the actual port tuning will be. So, if you say 3.6 cu.ft. is the gross/overall volume, you have to subtract the port volume and sub volume to find the Net Volume, this is the volume you use to define the ports tuning freq. |
