Recently the 479x has been exposed to water but it still looks like it works and everything. It turns on, lights up but whenever i press any key on the 479x remote the screen shows that it sends a signal but doesnt get a signal in return. How do i reprogram the remote or should i just get a new one?
Oh and i took the car down to a place that deals with clifford systems and after working on it for about half an hour he thought there was something wrong with the system in the car itself until i told him how the remotes been exposed to water. He then changed his mind and told me i should get a new remote for $150. Reasonable price? Its a 479x 2 way responder remote.
