I've got my dimensions and everything measured out to make it a 4ft^3 box. Now I've started cutting out my peices and I cant figure out the port part yet. I drew up some designs for the box so tell me if this looks right. <img> The dimensions are 32 long, by 19 deep and 14 high. The speakers are 12" for the perspective. I'm trying to tune it to 35 hz and based off the port dimensions of what I have drawn, the opening is 2x14. I used an online calculator and it said the length should be 10". Does this design look correct? the port looks akward and not very functional this way like it might be too short. I just need to know if this is right so I can feel confident gluing my box together. |
