Monday, June 25, 2007 - 14:20 GMT I have an Orion 1200d and soon to have a 12w7. Will the Orion have enough power at 3 ohms to push the W7? My Car is a 2001 Toyota Celica with a stock alt. I think that it is only putting out 12 volts. how many watts will the orion produce at 3ohms with 12volts?

Monday, June 25, 2007 - 14:30 GMT Is this the old 1200w 1200D? It'll do 500-600w at 3 ohms. Not the ideal amount of power, but plenty to get good performance out of it. BTW - your alternator should produce a LEAST 13V when running. If not, 14v or more. If it's really 12, your alternator is dead and a dead battery will soon follow. 12v is low even w/o the engine running. Should be around 12.5

Tuesday, June 26, 2007 - 11:02 GMT Ok...the voltmeter on my cap is reading 14v when the car is running and 13.2 when the car is not running so I was mistaken on that. I am getting the sub on trade so I'm not really paying for it...I had an re xxx but the wires that connect the terminals on the speaker to the voice coil broke in half on both voice coils...I dont think the coils are blown but I dont know how to fix it...
