The amp is a ma audio hk-598. I'm running it bridged. How could I tell if the fuses in the amp are to small? They are only 2x30 that seems a little small. Now I have the gain set about 3/4 up. Gain goes from 2mv to 4v and my HU preamp is 2.5v. Bass boost is about 1/4 up. I have set the gains multiple times, but I can't figure out what output voltage this amp should be giving me. Amps output is supposed to be. 200w x 4 @ 4ohm 400w x 4 @ 2ohm 800w x 2 @ 4ohm I have no clue what voltage that is at though. Anyone want to trade me an amp that will better suite my needs? |

That calculator says it should be at 28.3v. The amp won't go that high. What happens if you put fuses that are to small in the amp. Will it blow the fuses or limit the amps output? |

All the other amps of the same model have 30 fuses and mine has 40. I bought it used so I don't really know what it should have. |
