given it wont be as loud, but you can always compensate with more power. i always have my seats up in my luxury sedan and have no problem hearing and feeling my sub with only ~700 watts.

^^ its not custom work you disconnect the speaker and put it aside, most stock systems use plastic plugs that go into the speaker terminal

try fading your music to the front, if its fine take the rear speakers out if not leave them in.. its not going to be that big of a difference

u can trim around the hole and make it bigger. all it takes is a sharp razor knife and just hack away at it till the speakers fit. or make an adapter out of MDF. it might seem like a lot of work but its really not

They make CDT Audio HD42's.. that would work great, the highs are amazing you definately will not need rear speakers

I believe alteraudiousa sells cdt on this forum so hell give u a great price

For subs RE 8's are good, you should also look at Soundsplinter Rl-i 8's or TC Sounds 1000 8's

Funny that peeps now adays are sooo worried about soundstage and all but back in the days all we cared about how loud it was, we didn't care where the music was coming from, lol. I still don't... :-O Polo..
