Tuesday, June 19, 2007 - 18:04 GMT I currently have a 2002 pontiac grand prix sedan w/ a stock alternator-100a; and was looking at this set-up: hu-kenwood excelon x591 components- cdt classic cl-e subs- 2 12" rd audio classics my question is if i have this set-up do i have to get a ho alternator? i'm going to do the big 3, but can't afford to have that set-up and get a ho alternator.

Wednesday, June 20, 2007 - 16:01 GMT yeah, i'd upgrade it. and i think that 1500 might be a little much for the classics, the rms is only 500wrms for each. swap out the 1500 for the sae1000d if going with sundown.
