New member Username: Grimm57703Post Number: 1 Registered: Jun-07 | I currently have 2 12w7's in my jeep, I have been shopping for the right amp or amps to get and heard from numerous people that the JL 1000/1 is the best amp for this sort of system. Any insight would be great! Thanks |

New member Username: Grimm57703Post Number: 2 Registered: Jun-07 | Each has 3 ohms, my budget. Well I have about 1000 for the amp/amps. So if it is a really reliable amp then I may spend the money but if there is a more good amp for cheap then I may look into it. I was told that this sub will not work with any brand of amp it must be a top of the line amp kicker, JL, orion, memphis etc. |

I am sure you have upgraded your charging system, so at 14v you ill see closer to 1700 rms from the sundown @ 1 ohm, and you are needing 1000 at 1.5 ohms so a Sundown on each would work well Shoot em an email. Personally, i'd just go 1 1000/1 bc it'll get loud and 2 1000/1s are a little outta the budget and unnecessary |
