Tuesday, June 12, 2007 - 23:32 GMT Why would you step down from 3/0 to 4 gauge? That doesn't make any sense to me.

Tuesday, June 12, 2007 - 23:41 GMT ^^^ Agreed. That's kind of like buying a fire hose and duct taping a garden hose to the end of it.

Tuesday, June 12, 2007 - 23:47 GMT Im running 3/0 to an amp, but the amp does not have 3/0 terminals, so Im doing a very short run of 4 gauge to it. I can get the true 3/0 wire with 100% copper cheaper than I could 1/0. Thats why it has to be stepped down lol.
