Hi there, am very much hoping someone can help me out!!
Have got a Toad Sterling Touch immobiliser fitted to my 1992 Rover 420 GSi turbo, and have a bit of a problem!
On saturday the touch pad was being a bit iffy and not picking up the transponder - which it did after about 10 minutes and off we went.
On sunday, jumped into car, and the touch pad LED isnt illuminated - and therefore I cant disarm the immob and the car is stuck - not impressed
Basically, I want to either remove the immob or bypass it - I realise that its a cat 2, info as to how it should be removed probably shouldnt be posted on public forums etc etc but any help would be greatly appreciated!
And I am the genuine car owner, I have the warranty card for the fitment of the immob - the details of which are:
Date of fitment 05/03/04 Sterling Touch product code 000396 serial number 322-349** Car Reg - K8** *** Thatcham eval. # TE2-1167/0900
It was fitted at a place in Bristol that is no longer trading and Toad havent been overly helpful - "Its doing what its sposed to do" - well yeah, but as the owner I want to drive my own car!!!!!!!!!!!!
