i'm about to use my warrenty on my subs and get store credit, so i'm wondering whats best atm.

right now i have a 1600 a infinity amp and two type E alpines i think thier running at 8 ohm though on the amp cause i have them each wired so each sub is on it's own output. i think tht makes 8 ohms since its a mono amp. thier singl vocie coil. anyway sound not spectacular so i'm gonna change the ohm load and see what it does if nothing great i'm gonna dump them for type - R's

help on ethers apperciated but i wanna run for a while off the infinity 1600aamp and later get a better amp so in a sealed box which type - R is better 12's or 10's? and can i make my type E's any better?

How are you going to change the ohm load? since they are svc 8ohm, You need to run them at 4ohm

And why sealed? ported > sealed

IMO

no no my type E's are svc 4 ohm each i had them each to a output a infinity 1600 a amp the was single channel. so being each one is 4 ohms tht equaled 8 so now i rewired them to 2 ohms they still sound ok but not loud like i want. i want loud and proud i guess u can say. so i rather put 2 type r's so i'm tryin to figure out what's better on type r's i'm gonna save for. is type - r 10's or 12's better? i'm not spectacular with car audio i just got into it ayear ago and i learned from dual that u can blow woofers easy as hell in a ported box so i been staying with sealed boxes. and running higher end equipment or at least wht i can find in my area.
