Goodluck with that enclosure at that size, if anyone builds, you'll be paying at least $ 50.00 and up to have it shipped to ya depending on where it's shipped from given how much that sucker is going to weigh.
Well, I say this right now, either order it from Logan, Charlie or BJ because I know what I would charge is going to be nowhere near what they are going to charge ya for it, not at $ 150.00 or lower.
I can do ya $120.00 shipped. Thanks for the referral Phil, I appreciate it.
You can get a pair of Alpine Type R's for about that much, or a little less if you get em from me ;). They will be louder than the CVR's, which is the subs I had last time, with better sound quality.
Lol I wouldn't believe that unless I saw it. I think 1200 watts to those CVR's would blow them upside down. But are you looking for a box that is like this?

no, a pair of cvr's will easily take 1200w. i've tried both off same power and cvr's win in spl. not as good sq as the r but yes, they are more spl orientated than the r.
Click on *edit profile* at top left of the page and go from there. If you don't see a list of your recent posts, scroll down and check the box that says "Show list of my most recent posts when editing my profile." You only have 10-15 minutes from the time you posted so get on it.
it would only let me view my most recent posts, not delete them, sorry =/. L.B. Are you interested in a box like the one i doodled above? If so, what would you like your box to be tuned to, and I can sketch a more defined portrayal of what your box will look like. Let me know, thanks.
Your sketch is almost done, but I ran into one problem. The box must be bigger at least 15.375 wide, instead of 15, because your sub cutout won't fit within those parameters. Mind if it's 16" instead of 15"?
LoudBlazer Box Design [2x CompVR 15] Dimensions: 35" x 16" x 30" Port Area: 58in^2 Port Width: 4in Port Height: 14.5in Port Depth: 7.66in Frequency: 35Hz
it's the same thing its just on its side, tip it up 90 degrees and the subs will be up as well as the port. It is the same thing as the little picture I sketched above.
Look good? Let me know and I can build it for you $120.00 shipped, and it will be carpeted. If you want terminal cups, add an extra $5
i don't think that'd work out to well, just tipping it on it's side. wouldn't that make it stand like 35" high? how the hell would he ever see out the back?
ok well those are all the same box. I misunderstood how you wanted your subs and port. You just want me to move them to the top of the box instead of the front of the box? I'll change that and repost and you tell me if its right.
LoudBlazer Box Design [2x CompVR 15] Dimensions: 35" x 16" x 30" Port Area: 106.875in^2 Port Width: 3.75in Port Height: 28.5in Port Length: 19in Frequency: 35Hz
It is up to you, the higher you tune it the more spl [loudness] you'll get (to a certain point), and as you tune it lower, you loose spl [loudness], and gain sq [sound quality]. You could tune it as high as 40Hz, let me know how you like that particular box design.
Would this work better? Still tuned to the same frequency as the boxes above, just a different port position and port area, still same port width of 3.75"
I want spl, so 40 is good if that is the best way to get spl. the back of the box would be about to touch the back end, so i think the port on top would be better. That looks great!
If your gonna build him a box i would take a 20 dollar deposit like alot of people do you don't want to waste your money on building it and then the person backs out juts a suggestion.
around 8 cubes not including sub displacment or port displacment, i couldnt find the sub displacment of the CVR15's. If you can get those, subtract that number twice from 8cubic feet to get the displacment of the subs, and then I can figure out the port displacment.
