Silver Member Username: Chris_t54Post Number: 152 Registered: Dec-06 | sweet so like don't go dynamat then?? |
Gold Member Username: BernymacCambodian Post Number: 2873 Registered: Sep-04 | hell no. Why do you wanna do that for. And its expensive as fu ck. Do edead, you'll be good to go. A lot of the members here use edead. Go for the V2 and try to get it at the forum discount. You have to be a member of the forum. As for the link to buy it, not sure. Maybe someone else can help you on that. |

Silver Member Username: Mike11202DE US Post Number: 718 Registered: Nov-06 | I just used eDead v1se^2... it melts and falls off in the heat (i did use a rolller to make sure all was sealed) took me about 14 hours in 1 day to install and it falls off in the heat, it only gets about 90 degrees max around here too |
Gold Member Username: OglejustPost Number: 1864 Registered: Aug-06 | im a cheap mofo... i used peal and seal lol. o and i used some of the liquid edead like the v3 or something |
Bronze Member Username: Thumpinwith8sFormerly known as Wolf... Post Number: 43 Registered: Jun-07 | I heard that peal and seal will come off in the heat too. I was thinking about using it until I heard that, and the heat around here can get up into the 100's |
Gold Member Username: OglejustPost Number: 1870 Registered: Aug-06 | acctually it hasnt lifted or pealed at all... i think it helped too |
Silver Member Username: Chris_t54Post Number: 170 Registered: Dec-06 | well should i go for the edead 1v2 or the edead 1vs2 the difference is like $.48 and im jus doing my doors and my whole trunk how much sq ft. do you think that would be i have a 97 monte carlo ls coupe |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 4692 Registered: Feb-06 | i never have had a problem with the edead v1 i have in my car and it's been in for about a year now. just to let you know. order about 200sqft. and don't buy the roller from ed, i got about the same one (roller part was a little smaller but actually worked out better) for $3 at a hardware store, in the section where they sell wallpaper and paint. |
Silver Member Username: Chris_t54Post Number: 171 Registered: Dec-06 | 200 sq ft. are you serious ha |
Silver Member Username: TatonkaPost Number: 424 Registered: Mar-07 | Wolfman, I use peel n seel. Its $12 per 25 ft roll at our local lowes. It doesnt un stick at all during the heat. |
Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 4693 Registered: Feb-06 | forgot that it's a coupe, but maybe just a little under 200. about 30-40sqft. a door, the rest for the trunk. believe me, you'll go through alot more than you'd think, especially when you start doubling up areas, which most people do cause as they start sound deadning they start finding little spots that need more. |
Gold Member Username: BernymacCambodian Post Number: 2886 Registered: Sep-04 | You don't need 200sqft. I ordered about 100sqft and its alot.... A better question to ask is, where you live, does it get extremely hot? Like 90 degrees +. Then base your decision on that. Raamaat was my second choice, but was to expensive. |
