multiply those numbers and divide by 1728.

if they are outside dimensions of a box, then subtract the .75 or width of the box from each number then divide

some sides you might have to subtract 1.5". figure out where MDF is and figure out what to sutract. it wont always be .75"

kinda hard to give you square inches when you've got three measurements...that usually suggests cubic inches. (or feet, meters, etc)

unless it's a triangle shaped object. then the math is .5*base*height.

so, are we figuring sqin for a triangle (if so, which is base, which is height) or cuin for a box? or sqin for a port, in which case, which is port length so that measurment can be tossed out.

so 32" is one side of the port and 5" is the other side right?

if so....

32" x 5" = port area.

yep, 160in^2 of port area. 32 x 5.

and 2080in^3 of total port volume, or just at 1.2ft^3 of port volume. 32 x 5 x 13

INTERNET BUDDIES FOR LIFE!

i thought you needed the depth it went into the box to measure the cu inch, wow. that is really easy to measure cu inches.

you seriously wouldnt think i could build a box at all. i wish my carpentry skills were as good as my math...
