Silver Member Username: M0nkeyman692Post Number: 232 Registered: Feb-07 | how do i make a car sub amp work in a house.. i was wondering if this would work temporarily but i would rather have a better way. i take one of those quick chargers for a car that you plug into an outlet.. and then hook up a battery to the charger. and then hook the amp to the battery and the sub to the amp...? and somehow hook up controls and stuff to that so i can play music on it. will that work |

Silver Member Username: Wolf_houndPost Number: 235 Registered: Sep-05 | lol i did that in my house but it was with a sealed battery but the most you can have is like 300 watts. i connected a 400 watt amp and i could only turn it up a little bit because it would cut off. Then i connected a 200 watt and i could turn it up all the way but it wasnt loud enough for me i just connected it to my home stereo and it bangs harder. |
Silver Member Username: M0nkeyman692Post Number: 234 Registered: Feb-07 | yea i have a 500rms house sub right now and it bumps nice but i have an aw1206t in a 2.2cuft box and its tuned to like 30 or so. so its low and i wanted to use it for movies and home audio and stuff so no ideas for any way to make it happen |

Gold Member Username: Th3pwn3rPost Number:... Post Number: 2982 Registered: Jul-06 | It would have to be either a dual 8ohm or a dual 2ohm to be wired to 4 ohms. |
