Gold Member Username: CtmikeCt. Post Number: 4555 Registered: Feb-06 | yeah, he sounds pretty stupid. spend that $60 on the wire you'll need for the big 3 instead. here's the big 3 and how to do it: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp?TID=73496&PN=1 |

Silver Member Username: Skibum12189Cleveland Post Number: 654 Registered: Mar-06 | whats your setup because your amps might be shi++y.....i was running a hifonics 1206 off my 124 alternator and my lights dimmed like crazy...I now have a zx1500 and a zx350 and my lights dont dim at all even when im playin it pretty loud.....Your amp(s) efficiencies have a lot to do with it unless your alternator is like 60 A.....Generally, more $$, better efficiency, and kicker zx series amps aren't even high end. |

It won't solve your voltage problem, but under the right condition, it can be beneficial. Go to bcae1.com and read. Doing big 3 might help, but if the amp is drawing/demanding too much current, you either need to keep the volume down or get HO alternator. Class D amp draws less current than AB. |
