Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Southeast PA Post Number: 2845 Registered: Jul-06 | JBL amps are good. Most of the amps that low-hz carries are good also. |
Bronze Member Username: CuriousPost Number: 87 Registered: Dec-05 | so M.S. would you also say that that is a good amp for the alpines? |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Southeast PA Post Number: 2855 Registered: Jul-06 | Yes. But check into Kevin's offer, he may have a better deal on something else. |
Bronze Member Username: CuriousPost Number: 88 Registered: Dec-05 | hey M.S. so i followed the instructions with that link that you gave me but it still isnt giving me the right numbers I have the gain and the bass boost all the way down and i am still getting above the 41.2 that i am suppose to get WHat gives? |
Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Southeast PA Post Number: 2862 Registered: Jul-06 | What freq. test tone are you using? Did you turn off all settings on the HU? I'm betting you forgot something. And what numbers did you put into the calculator. |
Bronze Member Username: CuriousPost Number: 91 Registered: Dec-05 | yes i turned off all of those settings on the head unit......it doesnt have many as it is i have the alpine head unit that has the ipod interface on it...i dont remember the exact number but it came out early last year. i put the rms numbers in the calculator and i used two omhs because that is what the subs are wired to see. now the lower the ohms the more power right? and the subs dont seem like they are playing very hard at all. |
