Platinum Member Username: BestmankindLos Angeles, CA USA Post Number: 13084 Registered: Oct-05 | when you do a test tone i makes a sound that goes ((((((((BRRRRRRRRRRR))))))))))) from you subs. it is used to set the amp gain with a dmm or when you are burping your car. you will want to download a test tone that is within your subs xover range. also depending on the box and your car, certain frequencies will sound louder than others. why do you need it if you don't mind me asking? it ain't fun driving around playing test tones. |

To be honest, we have a club here of motorbikes and cars. And I am one of the admin of that club. so members ask for these terms. The questions I put here are always becase they ask, and on the other hand, I learn something from you Gurus. Because I just bought a Alpine type R with hifonics setup. So dont know about other brands and so.
