when i port my box's i like to use PSP ports because there easy, AND flared. but my question is do you think it would optimize airflow if i rounded the internal corners of the box and filled about an inch thick with caulking and some time of wood. instead of having the squared (internal) 90 degree corners?

why caulk it and then put wood on top of it? Just glue the wood onto that corner. It will create better air flow within the box, as for outside? I'm not sure.

dont use to much caulk or it will take a long a55 time to dry, but after putting the wood in smooth caulk over it to fill the gaps

I have always routed the edges of ports 1/4 in side and 1/2 outside with 1/8 inset that makes the carpet lay real nice! if you ad the rounded wood it still would ad length to your port and if ever comes off could kill you sub!
