hello guys i have a chance to get a set of 12" alpine type r dcv 4 ohm in a seald box for a little over a 100 bux... now the only amp i have is a power acoustik ov2 1200 gothic series...im not sure if the amp is ideal but i think im getting a deal on the subs...what i was running was 2 12 volefnahg and blew one...and they sounded like crap... so what do you guys think about those subs with that amp?? alos im running a kenwood kdc 722 head unit and infinity conponets all around and this will be in a 86 crown vic with a big trunk...so am i getting a good deal on the subs and will they sound better than the volenhag?
btw the box measures 27.5" long, 14.5" wide and 14.25" tall at the base The top of the enclosure measures approximately 27.5" long and 9" wide
also i cant get one yet but would be a good amp of choice for these subs i really like the older us amps and would like one that i can upgrade the subs later on down the road if i wanted
