Friday, May 18, 2007 - 23:38 GMT Very Nice. It used to get 1700 rms every day for 2 months. Never had any problems taking that much power either.

Friday, May 18, 2007 - 23:47 GMT Ryan you do realize that the SE's are 1000RMS and what you would be sending each would be around 800-850RMS depending on how your particular amp benches? And like Logan just said, even if you had that Sundown on each one, you still would have no reason for concern.

Saturday, May 19, 2007 - 00:36 GMT i dont mean to cause another big flaming war its just a question but will one 12" RE SE sound louder on its 1000 rms than a 12" L7 on its 750 watts rms just wondering because shouldnt it make sense more power handling equals louder

Saturday, May 19, 2007 - 00:42 GMT You probably have an old model Ryan, is my best guess. All of the newer ones are 1000RMS. Even still, you will be fine on the ones you have with that Sundown 1500.

Saturday, May 19, 2007 - 01:10 GMT Thermal power handling is the power dissipated by the VC to the air and surrounding materials. Total power handing is the sum of the thermal power handling and the radiated acoustic power. Yes Ryan, you will be fine.

Monday, May 21, 2007 - 05:16 GMT huh? 600W RMS. Depending on application you can get more out of them... but with a single soft spider they wont be taking 1000W. Great sounding sub that is decently abuse tolerant...

Wednesday, May 23, 2007 - 17:40 GMT SEs are one of my favoite sounding subs...awsome SQ....i wish i never sold mine....i have a 10w7 which is incredibly clean and great sounding but i'd trade it for my SEs again...given i have one 10w7 ported vs. 2 12s" SEs sealed...but i just like the sound of the SEs better
