Friday, May 18, 2007 - 14:55 GMT Divide it into sections and find the volume of each section. Without seeing the box that is the best I can do to help.

Friday, May 18, 2007 - 15:06 GMT get a 1'x1'x1' box. Fill the box up with peanuts and one by one dump the peanuts into your box. Each box is 1cf so just add them up and there you go

Friday, May 18, 2007 - 15:29 GMT wouldn't peanuts be to size variable to get correct space? I've seen 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 round nylon or plastic "not sure what they are exactly" balls which would lay or fill evenly. then use your same idea of the 1x1x1 cube, which is a good idea! Does anyone know where to find or buy them, something like the softair bb's or anything similar

Saturday, May 19, 2007 - 00:06 GMT use sand.. its easy to get and it would be more accurate because its so small. but make sure its dry or else cleaning the box would be hard to do
