New member Username: Don1000Maynard, Minnesota United States Post Number: 1 Registered: May-07 | I have a 1993 Chevy Cavalier and I was recently putting in a Sony radio and the radio works fine when the key is off but as soon as you go to start the car or turn on the headlights the sound quits coming out of the speakers but the radio station is still on the recevier and as soon as you turn the key to off again and unplug the wires to it and plug them in again it works fine again so I was wondering if you know how to help me out with this problem and I was also wondering if you can get me a wiring diagram for putting in the radio. Bronze Member Username: Kpa2727Post Number: 74 Registered: May-07 | sounds like u have a short in ur acc, or even clock wire and it's interfering sending a short to the headunits amp. causeing it to trip a relay of some sort inside. try here, but understand cacaliers aren't built to well and there could be alot of reasons. try this link see how you make out. http://www.installdr.com/QuickWiring.html |
