Does anyone know how you remove auto interior vinyl. Especially the vinyl on my door. It has a thick white layer. I'm thinking heat gun. Anyone agree. I really don't want to go back and forth to the store.

I would go to an auto interiors place and ask what they use, and if they would sell you some. They have all sorts of tricks to doing this stuff.
I pulled the headliner out of my truck when the fabric started to sag and took it a local auto interior place to have it re-covered. I have heard of people re-covering it themselves and then having all sorts of problems with it holding, but mine came out great. They know something that most people don't
