It does suck!!I tried soldering it but it is too short and the comp is coming up next month so i got to hurry up. Only one tore, but the other 3 are like ripped almost torn. Im thinking since this sub fu@ked up its not gonna perform 100% so i might have to sell my Q's and go with the premiers now..... I dont think scott would do anything about it.

Overexurted? That is BS, in the world of subs and bumping the only thing to stop excursion is the backplate, lol! I would send it back for warantee repairs... JMHO...Polo.

My guess is the leads on that sub were cut a tad short b4 applied. Replacing them yourself could prove more damaging than good, possibly voiding any warranty scott would honor. Definately contact him b4 you do ANYTHING.

Good luck getting it fixed. It won't be easy to do, but if you take your time and go slow you should be able to do a very good job. And the sub should perform exactly the same afterwards if you do a good job.

And make sure to scrape off any exsisting glue!! If you don't the new glue won't hold very well at all. That is the best advice I can give.

I was reading that other people were thinking it was to much power? On another note how often do you see broken tinsels on Treo or DD subs with them interwoven into the spider? Polo.
