Platinum Member Username: BestmankindLos Angeles, CA USA Post Number: 12742 Registered: Oct-05 | k cool. so this is what i do then.........get 2 meters. one for each amp. connect the red wire to the power cable on the amp and the black wire to the ground cable on the amp. then the remote to the remote. do the same for the other amp too. |

Post Number: 2535 Registered: Jul-06 | Yea, you can do that but I have my remote wires hooked to a switch so I can shut off whatever whenever.Oh and another thing I tested the voltmeter side by side with a DMM and it was very close so it's a reliable reading.The reason you run to the amp is so that you know exactly what the amp is seeing,if you run from somewhere else you might not see the voltage your amp(s) are/is seeing.Driving didn't listen to this and well...let's just say he's lucky to still have his equipment in working order. |
