Well back to work I go. After I cut the holes for the amps to sit flushed, I'm going to drill holes for the power wire to run through. Then go buy some grey paint. Install the amp rack then leave it there.
Then I have to locate my eqx, 6xs, and cd changer somewhere. Busy day today. so fosho.
The sides aren't closed up, so there can still be some air flow. I intend on putting a few fans on the left side and one on top between the little amps and the big amp. I also made a rack under my 2nd row seating. Its done already, just needs some carpet. We'll....my dad called me, I have to go get some papers from him. We'll, atleast it gives me the chance to go by a audio shop and pick up some carpet. More later, thats if I get back home early enough.
No, because it will show from the side, not the middle of the box. same goes for the comp amp. Its only hard to set the xtant amp because the settings will face downward. On another note. carpeted my stuff. Now its just installing from here on out. I can hook up my subs and stuff right now if I wanted, but I dunno. Well, gotta go finish up some stuff now. I'll post pictures in maybe an hour
well the amp rack is done. I just need to install the last amp. I still have a lot more connections I need to make. Still a lot more to do. All that is playing right now are the subs. Its loud, but sad enough, its not as loud as chads as it seems. But its loud though and thats good enough for me. On another note, I was smelling this weird asz smell. Came from the subs, and the cone got warm. So yeah I need to check into that before I play it a second time. Fiberglassing my door pods next week. So yeah. Well on to the pictures............
Amp rack. Wires are well hidden within the amp rack!!
I call this my EQ, 6xs and fuse block rack. came out really clean.
Still need to clean up the rca wires and stuff. Don't trip, tie your shoes.
