Wednesday, May 09, 2007 - 02:43 GMT What test tone should I use for setting a amp used for the midrange. 80hz-3.5khz? I'm guessing 80hz? What test tone should I use for setting a amp used for the tweeters. 3.5khz and up? I'm going to use a 50hz test tone to set my gain for my sub amp.

Thursday, May 10, 2007 - 08:27 GMT i wish amps had a digital gain.. .where they set there self acording to what input voltage its getting.... now that would be a revolutionary change for amps.... i bet a ton of amps would live alot longer

Thursday, May 10, 2007 - 13:16 GMT a lot of spkrs would live longer. I don't think it would change amp survival much.
