Friday, May 04, 2007 - 19:42 GMT I have been through 4 inline fuses now and am out of them. Why does it keep doing this? I have a kx1200.1, do you think I need a bigger inline fuse? I'm not sure how big mine is now, but what size would you guys suggest? Also, Would it be ok to splice the new inline into my 4AWG power wire? Let me know please, Thx!

Friday, May 04, 2007 - 20:48 GMT It you have 4ga wire and a MAXI fuse holder, you prolly have a 80A fuse. You need to fuse that kx1200 at ~150A. I would upgrade to 1/0ga wire and use a 150A ANL fuse. Also, make sure you have your gain set correctly.
