I have a 67 firebird and I want to put the cdplayer in the glove box and so I want to be able to control it with the remote, how would I go about adding a remote eye somewhere on the dash, since the cdplayer itself will be hidden.

You'd need to look into some form of IR Repeater System though it might end up being a bit costly. If you can find something that has an RF remote that would be an easier option but I'm not sure if there are any HUs with RF remotes. There are however plenty of RF remotes for iPods so if you wanted to hook up an iPod through the HU and control THAT with an RF remote that would be another option. Just throwing things out there.

Nice, leave it to PAC, those guys make everything. Yeah, I'm thinking that would work out perfectly. You'd just need to make sure you line up the IR eye on the HU and the repeater eye correctly in the glove box. That's actually a really good price too, and PAC makes good stuff. Nice find!
