Right now my current alternator is 105 Amps. I will be wiring it on 2 gauge wire. Will i need a HO alternator like 160 or 200 amps or another battery? |

Gold Member Username: Nd4spd18Southeast PA Post Number: 2054 Registered: Jul-06 | That amp is rated for 1200 watts, and Hifonics amps are overrated by about 20%, so it will do about 900 watts. With that amount of power your stock electrical will probably be fine. When you set your gain, make sure you set the amp to put out about 900-950 watts. Like I said those amps are overrated and will clip your subs if you try to get 1200 watts from it. |
