Post Number: 2263 Registered: Jul-06 | It's always a better idea to read voltage at the amplifier.This way if there's a break in the line you'll know your amp isn't getting full power.Someone on here had a problem with their power and had they listened to this in the first place they would have known they had their power wire from the front to the back batt disconnected. |

The longer the cables, the more resistance there is. More resistance = more voltage loss. The difference is noticeable right after the bass hits, the voltage will drop lower at the amplifier than at the battery. |
