Ok, so call me ignorant, this is round 2. I have 2 alpine Type R's and they will be going in the trunk of my acura (enclosed trunk seats DONT fold down) The box specs i got using subwoofertools showed it with 1 port on the side. How should my box be built? So the subs are facing the back of the trunk (when you open it up you are looking at the subs) or facing the celing (when you open the tunk you are looking at the top of them) And should the subs be in separate chambers or just 1? And for maximum pounding, should the port be on the side, in the middle, or should i have 2? Gold Member Username: Tdawg30Ohio USA Post Number: 1118 Registered: Jun-06 | yeah most people generally build a one port, one chamber box. people say you wont be able to tell the difference between seperate chambers box and the mono chambered but if you like the design go for it. its up to you how you want it to look, but most people on here just build the mono chamber and one port and they all are very nice boxes and come out with great reviews, so its really a matter of if you want symmetry, or just a simple effective box design. |

Im selling my box i just made and need to make another for cheap... Logan, which should i have, the one where subs are looking at my trunk top, or the one where subs are looking at the back of my trunk? |
