posted in order from least to most expensive: 2 12" q's 4 12" bm's 2 12" idmaxs
not looking to compete or nothing, just a really nice little system. already have the amps for them ordered so that's not a problem. personally i'm leaning towards the q's so it'll leave me a little more money for the 2 channel amp i'm thinking of ordering, but i have time to save up more for it if needed. still can't decide so hoping some others' suggestions will finally get my mind made up.
In fact I've been wanting some of those. I'm starting to wonder if I made the right choice with my DD 9515, lol. I wonder if a pair of Qs sound be louder / sound better on the same amp (3000 watts)
how much would the q's be compared to the idmax's? id get the idmax's over the q's but just depened on how miuch more expensive they were, for the price i'd get the q, but if money wasnt an issue the idmax's
ONLY reason i'm liking the q better right now is i have read nothing but bad thing about ids' customer service since they're move, especially how long it takes for a product to be repaired and sent back. i've even tried getting registered on their forum, but have been waiting over 2 months for someone from there to activate my account.
I think 2 Qs will sound really good and loud - that's also pretty cheap. Not sure what all the options are for it, but if you get some i'm sure it'll be a good thing lol
q's all the way man you can get 2 q's for the price of one idmax, and those idmax will prolly be better but not worth the extra 500 bucks.... and u gotta use 12's? u aint got room for 15s?
but have you ever heard the idmax? never heard the 3000 personally but the idamx is worth the money to me. so please, stick to the 3 i mentioned. don't need any more confusion on what subs to get
but yeah, q's are sounding really good to me right now.
I was talking within the context - any 4 of THESE subs will be louder than any 2 others. Thx for keeping me honest though, M.S. - I can always count on you for that.
