ascendant audio 6.5 midwoofer but ascendant audio got fucked up but hey give them a call they got some left.... if not get a dd 6.5 mini woofer

hmm... i'm liking the sounds of that DD. i've never seen one before though... anyone know how much they run for? also anyone connected to hornetsnest got a quote for me? lol

X2...I have been curious about those as well.

I am associated with Ronnie, but I think he is trying to stick to big amps and subs right now rather than the smaller items...

Look for an actual midbass driver, not a sub for 60-250Hz range.
try www.madisound.com, look at SEAS.

i've heard seas makes excellent drivers. so would the L22RN4X/P (8" aluminum cone, 125w), fit what i want? i would probably get a pair. i'm trying to fill what my current sub can't pick up on the 60hz+ side...

yup, good midbass drivers in a sealed sail panel or door would work great.
use a bandpass/notch filter for them to roll off around 12-18dB/octave, from about 80Hz to 200Hz. let the roll off fill in the gaps to avoid warm spots
